Volnay Clos de la Chapelle Premier Cru 2013 : Mid cherry. Pure, dark red and lightly spiced fruit. Silky, fresh and nicely dry. Notable finesse, moderate weight but good length. Drink 2017-2023 16.5

Pommard Les Grands Epenots Premier Cru 2013 : Notably deep colored. Smells rich and generous but still fresh. Chewy, firm, the Pommard framework currently containing the fruit but it is all there in embryo. Promising. Drink 2019-2028 16.5+

Pommard Les Chanlins Premier Cru 2013 : Just two barrels. Mid to deep cherry. Fragrant and peppery, dark fruited. Firm, deep-fruited and extremely moreish. Rounded, dry tannins, with a fine savory length. Distinctively Pommard in a polished style. Drink 2018-2028 16.5
